GRANHOLM STUMPS IN WEST MICHIGAN

MAB station of the year, WOOD TV reports:
Governor Jennifer Granholm was in West Michigan Wednesday to promote her idea of finding jobs for 30,000 people by the end of the year. The governor talked about her plan at The Source in Grand Rapids that helps companies looking for workers and workers looking for jobs find each other. Granholm says matching the available jobs with people looking for work is a major part of her plan. The governor says she thinks the state can get up to $10 million from the federal government to help in that effort.

Granholm's plan is called the "Michigan opportunity Partnership Plan." Hmmm...Wasn't "opportunity" one of President Bush's 2004 campaign buzz words?
