McCAIN 2008 STARTS IN GRR

U.S. Senator John McCain will headline the Kent County GOP's "Lincoln Day Dinner" on Monday.

But McCain tells the Grand Rapids Press, he's just coming to help the Party:

"I've got no ulterior motive," he told The Press. "I'm just coming out to do a little party stuff."

McCain beat Georeg W. Bush during the 2000 GOP primary in Michigan.
